Adelaide Pre-Match
By: Marcus | January 22nd, 2010Over the next six days Melbourne have three games, the first one being against our South Australian rivals Adelaide United. Adelaide’s final’s hopes are gone and they are only playing for pride, Melbourne are continuing there push to the top of the table and are looking to secure a ninth straight win over the Reds.

For this clash both teams will be wearing there ‘Come Play!’ kits in support of Australia’s 2018 or 2022 World Cup bids. There for a good cause as they will be auctioned off with proceeds going to Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation, but lets not beat around the bush…they look terrible.
All the kits for ‘Come Play!’ can be found here.

The team will keep the same shape as last week with the back 3 as per usual but with two defencive midfielders Brebs and Broxham parntnered with Ward and Pondeljak.
Our defensive stocks look to be replemished with Berger, Surat and Kemp all looking like being available for our match against Wellington.
Sadly though Celeski is still injured, but he is recovering better than expected. He recently did an interview and talked about how he is coping with the injury.
Video footage of Marvin Angulo’s goal for the Youth team has surfaced, it was a cracker indeed!
