Farewell Theo
By: Marcus | June 1st, 2009Farewell Theo
After 4 seasons and playing 75 matches at Melbourne, the best keeper in Australia, Michael Theoklitos has decided to part ways with the club when his contract expires on the 30th of June.

Melbourne’s favorite custodian has chosen to part ways with the club because he wishes to pursue his dream of playing overseas. I wish him all the best as he is a great keeper as he has shown consistently throughout his time at Melbourne, keeping 27 clean sheets out of him 75 matches.
Lucky for Melbourne we have 2 keepers who are capable of filling in and I hope Langerak gets the gig as he has been promising when he has played, hopefully he can fill the big void left by Theo.
Farewell Theo, good luck with your dream, I’m sure you will make it!

I’m unsure yet who will be better, Moss or Langerak. I get the feeling that Moss was brought in as to be in the first 11 but it could be different. Who can tell what Merrick is thinking.

I hope Langerak gets into the starting 11, not only has Theo been tutoring him, he also played well last season when he had his opportunities, but as you said who the hell knows what goes on in Merricks head
