VOTW: Melbourne’s Most Memorable Goals

The Most Memorable Goals

These are arguably the most memorable goals of Melbourne’s short four season life span.

My favorite was when Nicky Ward came on to level things up against Sydney, and then Fabiano scoring the winner. Conceding 2 goals in the opening 3 minutes of play and fighting back to win 3-2 against our fiercest rival, that’s my favorite memory.

No way would i ever say Danny Allsloppy scored a great goal lol I agree that Nicky Wards goal was unreal especially leveling things up in a game like that. Think Hernandez vs Juventus was crazy as well though!

Wards goal was a stunning shot and the right time to turn the tide for the boys. It was our best comeback, followed closely by the 3-3 draw against central coast 3 seasons back.

And hasn’t Hernandez settled in well now. 07-08 season he seemed to be losing his edge but a re-signing of him is worth it.
