All clubs in the Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League, National Youth League and the Socceroos in the Asian Cup will be wearing black armbands and observed a minutes silence in support of everyone affected by the Queensland floods.
All matches played in Matchday 24 of the Hyundai A-League as well as corresponding fixtures in the W-League and NYL will be known as the ‘Flood Relief Rounds’.
In support of the cause Football Federation Australia will also donate $100,000 to the appeal.
Match goers will also have the opportunity to donate to the Flood Appeal at each venue during the Flood Appeal Rounds.
